West Grey Police held a warrant of arrest for a 31 year old Palmerston woman, on a charge of Break, enter and theft and failing to attend court, as a result of an arrest in 2007. On April 1, 2008 Grey County OPP stopped a vehicle in the Township of Chatsworth and arrested the woman on the outstanding warrant. She was held until April 2, 2008 for a bail hearing and was released. She will appear in a Walkerton Court later this month.

On April 5, 2008 West Grey Police received a call at 6:48 a.m. about a male driver passed out in the front seat of a vehicle, which was parked on Grey Road 4 and the Artemesia townline. Officers woke the driver who had an odour of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. A road side test was conducted and the driver past, officers located several bottles of beer, one of which was opened. The beer was seized and the 39 year old Kitchener man was charged under the liquor licence act. He was also issued a 12 hour licence suspension.

West Grey Police received a call about a 1998 Ford ranger truck which was stuck in the gravel pit off of South St in Durham. Police attended and located the truck in a large water hole.The truck had been reported stolen from the Fergus area on the day before. Wellington OPP were contacted and the truck was removed to a local impound. Police are investigating
