Friday May 2, 2008 West Grey Police received a report of a stolen 2005 Jeep Wrangler from a parking lot on Saddler St. E in the Town of Durham. A short time later the vehicle was recovered on the baseline road in Normanby Twp. The vehicle had been set a fire and was destroyed. West Grey Fire along with West Grey Police are investigating

22 year old female formerly from West Grey has been charged after she reported to Police that her 1997 Chrylser car had been stolen. The female who was intoxicated at the time had assaulted and made threats to her mother. She was arrested and charged with several criminal charges including public mischief by making a false police report.
