A 19 year old Durham man was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault after he stabbed a 45 year old man. The two men became involved in a fight at a Garafraxa St N, apartment in Durham on Friday night.The 45 year old man was stabbed in the back and leg. The male was transpoted to the Durham hospital for treatment and was released. The accused fled the scene and around 1:30 a.m. was located and arrested. He is being held for a bailing today Monday Nov, 10/08. The two men knew each other.

West Grey Police officer on patrol on Grey road 23 near the South line in Glenelg on Friday night checked a stopped vehicle on the side of the road. While having a convestation with the driver the officer noted a odour of alcohol coming from the breath of the man. A 50 year old Mount Forest man was arrested for Care and Control of a motor vehicle while impaired, he was transpoted to the West Grey Police Station for breath test’s. His reading were twice the legal limit, he was charged with a second charge of care and control while his blood alcohol was over .08. He received a 90 day licence suspension and will appear in a Walkerton court on November 24, 2008

Details
A 33 year old and a 32 year old Durham area men were arrested and charged after West Grey Police stopped a vehicle in Durham. The two males face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking of a controlled substance. Possession of a Controlled Substance, the 32 year old man also faces charges of Resist arrest and escape lawful custody. Police seized a large amount of cash and several plastic bags of what is believed to be crystal methamphetamine along with marhiuana. The 32 year old attempted to escape from the officers while being questioned, the officers managed to take control of the man and hadcuff him The two males were transported to the West Grey Police Station and later transported to the Walkerton Jail for a bail hearing today Monday November 10
