On July 23, 2009 as a result of a three month investigation and the execution of 2 search warrants a 35 year old male from Normanby Twp, was arrested for sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, sexual exploitation, possession of child pornography, and possession of a prohibited weapon. He will appear in bail court on Monday July 27, 2009. His name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim. The investigation continues

On July 26, 2009 a lady had parked her vehicle at the boat ramp at Bells Lake in Glenelg Twp and went canoeing, on her return she noticed the car door open and items missing from her car. Taken was cash, cell phone, camera, disposable underwater camera and the rear plate off her car. The stolen plate number is BCVP-605.

July 26, 2009 West Grey Police investigated a break, enter and theft at a Bentinck Twp home. Occurred sometime between Friday and Sunday July 24, and July 26,2009. Person(s) unknown entered the home through a basement window, once inside several items. Taken was 4 rings, 1 bracelet and alcohol to a value of $2000.00.
