Details
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the Allan Park Area and investigation revealed that the male subject had assaulted his common law wife and a friend of hers. The suspect had departed prior to the police arrival however he turned himself in the to the West Grey police the next morning. The suspect was arrested and taken to court in Walkerton for a show cause hearing. He was released on conditions and is to re-appear in court on 11 Jan 2009.

Details
Officers responded to a Mischief call at the Durham Laundromat on Garafraxa St in the town of Durham.
Investigation indicates unknown suspects had damaged the toilets in the washroom causing flooding of the floor. Damage estimated at $150.00.
Police have no suspects at this time.

Details
Resident on Conc 10 in Bentinck township reported to police that someone had unsuccessfully tried to gain entry into his 1998 Ford PU truck sometime through the night. Suspects were unsuccessful in gaining entry but did however cause scratches to the lock and the door of the truck.
No suspects at this time.

Officers from West Grey police conducted 3 RIDE checks during the past week checking over 300 vehicles in total. No Impaired drivers were found and no other charges were laid as a result of the RIDE checks. West Grey Police wants to remind everyone that we will be running the RIDE checks throughout the holiday season.
