West Grey Police are investigating a break and enter to a residence on Conc. 12 in the former Bentinck township.
Sometime over the previous week of Aug. 17, unknown suspects entered the residence, causing damage to windows and doors. Approximately $500 to $600 damage was done.

Occurrence Type: Lock Vehicles

West Grey Police are reminding residents to locks their vehicles, and to keep their belongings out of sight. Deputy Chief Dan Rioux says that anything in plain sight is just a theft waiting to happen.
On Aug. 18, West Grey Police were notified of a theft from a vehicle parked at a parking lot at a residence on Garafraxa Street North. A CD player was stolen from the vehicle, along with a black and white bag containing makeup. Also stolen was a Canon digital camera, and a bottle of prescription drugs. Estimated value of the theft is $520.
On Aug. 19, West Grey Police responded to a call to a residence on George Street in Durham. Someone had entered a vehicle there and stole a wallet containing identification and $100 in cash.
On Aug. 21, West Grey Police were called to a residence at 245 Queen St. in Durham. Sometime during the early morning hours of Aug. 21, someone entered a vehicle parked in the driveway and stole a wallet containing identification and credit cards.
