Break, Enter, & Theft of Snowmobile; Keep Valuables Out of Sight
West Grey – Police are asking anyone to come forward with information that pertains to a break, enter, and theft to a residence on Grey Road 4. The incident happened sometime between the evening hours of Jan.12 and early morning of Jan. 13. Suspects entered an unlocked shed on the property and stole a 2007 Yamaha RXW snowmobile. The registered number on the snowmobile is 976756. If you have any information, please call Crime stoppers or West Grey Police Service.

Stolen Disability Sticker
Police are asking anyone to come forward with information relating to the theft of a disability parking sticker from a vehicle parked on Garafraxa Street in Durham. The incident was reported on Jan. 10. Anyone with information is asked to contact WGPS or Crime Stoppers.

Purse Stolen
Police received report on Jan.14 regarding a purse that had been stolen from a vehicle on Queen Street in Durham. The purse contained identification and other person items. The vehicle was unlocked. IF you have any information, please call WGPS or Crime Stoppers.
Deputy Chief Dan Rioux, WGPS, is reminding members of the public that any items left out within the open space of a vehicle are easily accessible to those looking for items to steal. HE advises that items should not be left in vehicle, and if absolutely necessary to be left, then they should be out of sight, such as in the trunk of the vehicle.
