West Grey Police Services are asking anyone with information regarding a burnt, stolen vehicle to contact the WGPS or Crime Stoppers. Sometime between June 21 at 11pm and June 22 at 6am, a Dodge pickup was stolen from a residence on Durham Road East in the former Glenelg Township. The vehicle was recovered on Mulock Road North, burned. If you have any information, please call WGPS or Crime Stoppers.

WGPS are asking anyone with information regarding a stolen ATV to contact the West Grey Police Service or Crime Stoppers. The ATV is described as being red in colour, Honda 500cc, 2007. It was stolen from a residence on Concession 4 in the former Glenelg Township.

WGPS are reminding people to not leave animals in their vehicles during the hot summer days. Police gave warning to one person on Garafraxa St. in Durham, after observing a dog left unattended in a vehicle on a hot day. Leaving your animal in a vehicle, such as this incident, could lead to charges of cruelty to animals.

A youth has been charged with two counts of assault after a fight between youths at a residence on Concession 8 in the former Bentinck Township. A verbal argument between two youths turned to assault. The accused jumped in and assaulted the victim. The victim sustained minor injuries. The accused was released on a promise to appear with an officer in charge undertaking
