West Grey – A 73-year-old Ayton man has been charged with producing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance after West Grey Police Service executed a warrant under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act. Police seized 94 marijuana plants which totaled $95,520 street value. The man was released on an OIC Undertaking with a Promise to Appear on April 12 for court.

West Grey police, conducted three RIDE programs. Two RIDE programs were conducted with Hanover Police Service and OPP. No charges were laid and no breathalyzer tests were administered. On warning was issued under the Highway Traffic Act.
