Details
A 41-year-old Ayton man was arrested on March 16. Police originally attended his place of residence to arrest him for an assault charge. Further investigation determined there were outstanding warrants for his arrest for: possession of stolen property under $5,000, failing to appear for court, bench warrant for substantive break and enter theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property under $5,000, and for driving under suspension. He was held for a bail hearing.

Details
West Grey – Police are asking that if anyone has any information regarding a break and enter to a shed on Concession 2 SDR, Bentinck Township, to come forward to West Grey Police Service or Crime Stoppers. Unknown persons entered a shed at the residence and gained entry through a window and then pulled on the screen. Stolen was a 32 inch black Emerson TV, model CL-C32OEN2F with a serial number of DS1A1141106795.

On March 16, police investigated a theft of cash from a vehicle on Concession 2 in Bentinck Township. The vehicle was unlocked. Stolen was: $40 from a wallet and $570 in a brown leather pouch. Six bikes were stolen after a break and enter on Grey Road 4. Two were recovered in Priceville, but four are still outstanding. A red mens mountain bike, a lime green girls Raleigh medium mountain bike, a white girls mountain bike, and an orange and white mountain bike are still outstanding.
