West Grey Police arrested a 23-year-old man in Durham, after receiving a report of a domestic incident. They were called to a residence on Countess Street where investigation determined that the accused man had assaulted a female. She had minor injuries as a result. He was charged with one count of assault, and released following a trial hearing, with a May 28 court date.

West Grey Police conducted RIDE programs, with OPP, on April 28. A number of vehicles were checked. As a result there were no charges or warnings.

Occurrence Type: DEMANDING A CELL PHONE

Details
A 48-year-old woman was arrested after attending a residence and demanding a cell phone. Police investigation determined that the woman had attended a residence on Grey Road 3 in Normanby Township, where she demanded that a 26-year-old man hand over a cell phone. The police were called which resulted in the woman being charged.
