West Grey – Three individuals were charged with possession of a controlled substance after a routine traffic stop turned into police seizing a white powder and some pills. The incident happened on Highway 6 in Bentinck Township. A 29-year-old man is charged with two counts of failing to comply with conditions of officer in charge undertaking and one count of possession of a controlled substance. A 31-year-old woman was charged with two counts of failing to comply with her officer in charge undertaking and possession of a controlled substance. A 28-year-old was charged with two counts of breach of probation, and failing to comply with recognizance of bail, and possession of a controlled substance. All three were held for a bail hearing. NO court date was known as The Post when to press. Two pills and a white powder have been sent for analysis.

Details
A business, located on Concession 14 between Bruce Road 10 and Side Road 5, was broken into. The incident was reported to police Monday. Stolen was a cash box, containing a novelty $1,000 bill. Details
West Grey Police Service is asking for information regarding a break and enter to a business on Bruce Road 10 in Bentinck Township. An unknown number of persons entered the business and stole a white Royal cash register, containing a $75 float. Nothing else was reported taken. Police were called at 3:20 a.m. Sunday after tenants within the building saw motion lights turn on. If you have any information, please call West Grey Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
