Details

West Grey – A 35-year-old man, of Brampton, was airlifted to London Health Sciences Centre following a collision Saturday. The collision happened at the intersection of Grey Road 25 and Grey Road 3. The driver was operating a transport truck, hauling a loaded trailer, west bound on Grey Road 25 when he lost control while approaching a curve. The truck rolled over onto its right side and into the ditch. He was thrown through the front window. He was transported to Hanover and District Hospital and later airlifted to London. He was charged with careless driving, driver failing to properly wear a seat belt, and fail to maintain daily log.

Details

A theft of a golf cart happened during the early morning hours of Saturday. The cart was stolen from a residence on Grey Road 6 in Bentinck Township. The cart was parked in the driveway of the residence. It is described as being fitted with chicken wire to carry garbage cans. Two vehicles parked on Mill Street in Durham were damaged last week. The incident happened July 21. The complainant reported to police that both the front and rear passenger side tires were slashed. Details

A break and enter to a residence on the 30th Side Road in Bentinck Township, resulted in the theft of numerous power tools and other items. The theft was reported to police Sunday. Sometime during the evening hours of Saturday to Sunday, unknown suspects gained entry to a man door, which was locked. Stolen items were: power drills with batteries and chargers (DeWalt, Milwauwki, Ryobi and Mastercraft), two garage door jack shafts, and their accompanying jack shaft openers, a four foot level and 25 foot tape measure. The damage to the door amounted to approximately $150.
