Details
West Grey – Two males attempted to steal some power tools from the Durham Home Hardware store on Garafraxa Street. The incident happened on September 12. The complainant thought the two males were suspicious. They were approached by the complainant, when one of the males said “Look at the stain on my shirt”. The suspects then fled the store. After the power tool aisle was assessed the theft, it was discovered that two power drills had been removed from the aisle. One of the drills was recovered on a shelf in the store, and the other drill was located outside in the seasonal area. No other merchandise was taken. One suspect is described as being approximately 5’ 5” tall, with light brown short hair, white t-shirt with a red stain on it, wearing a red and white ball cap, in his late 30s to 40s. The other is described as being 5’ 5” tall with dark brown hair in a ponytail, wearing light colored shorts in his late 30s and 40s.

Occurrence Type: THEFT AT FARM EQUIPMENT DEALERSHIP

Details
Four tractor draw bars were stolen from Robert’s Farm Equipment in Bentinck Township. The bars are described as having three-feet-long holes at each end, very heavy, grey in color, valued at $200. The draw bars were removed from new tractors. If you have any information, please call Crime Stoppers or the West Grey Police Service.
