Details

Between 7 and 14 March 2016, West Grey Police were investigating a mischief to property which occurred on the Normanby-Bentinck Townline. A lock was cut on the property owners shed and the locked cable barring access to the property from the roadway had been damaged. Andrew HAUG of Normanby was arrested and charged. There was a second male involved and the investigation continues.

Details

On Mon 14 March 2016, the West Grey Police along with the area OSPCA have been involved with an animal complaint concerning approximately 50 carcasses of domestic and farm animals being located on a Glenelg property. The OSPCA is dealing with the matter.

Occurrence Type: Fraud

Details

The West Grey Police Service were called to investigate an internet fraud involving the sale of Toronto Maple Leaf tickets on the Kijiji Ontario site. Arrangements were made to pay half the amount up front for the tickets and they would then be mailed and the seller would then await the second half of the payment. The purchaser did an electronic money transfer of the first amount but didn’t receive the tickets. Subsequent contact then ceased. Attempts are being made to identify the seller, however, the suspect and money could be anywhere worldwide.
