On May 29, 2016 a break and enter was reported to a recreational property on Concession 10 NDR in the former Bentinck township. A Ryobi 3500 watt generator was stolen.
On May 30, 2016 a set of tires and rims was reported stolen from a property on Garafraxa St in Durham, The tires and rims were being stored next to a small shed.
On June 1, 2015 a break and enter was reported at a workshop on the West Back Line in the former Glenelg township. A red GT Aggressor bicycle and a Stanley 200 piece tool kit were stolen.
On June 2, 2016 a theft from vehicle was reported. Vehicle was parked in a driveway on Road 71 in the former Normanby township. A Garmin Nuvi 255 GPS unit was stolen.
Residents are cautioned that scam artists are contacting unsuspecting persons and claiming they represent the Canada Revenue Agency. Voice mail messages are left stating that fines are owing and if immediate payment is not received arrest warrants will be issued. Please be aware the government does not operate in this manner
