Occurrence type: Assault

 

On Thursday 20 October 2016, at a residence in Bentinck an incident involving family members occurred. Police were subsequently called a day after the incident and as a result of investigation an adult female was charged with assault, assault with a weapon and utter threats. She was released by the courts with a future appearance date.

Occurrence type: Assault

 

On Saturday 22 October 2016, in the afternoon hours a female was assaulted at a residence in the town of Durham. The male party subsequently attended the West Grey Police Station and turned himself in. He was charged with assault cause bodily harm and failing to comply with his recognizance. He was held pending a bail hearing in Walkerton Court on Monday 24 October.

Occurrence type: Theft of vehicle

 

Sometime between 3 September 2016 and 23 October 2016, a 2001 GMC Sierra pickup silver in colour bearing Ontario licence #AB23845 with an “Artic” snow plow blade attached was stolen from the victim’s property on the 8th Concession of Bentinck, West Grey. There are no suspects. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the West Grey Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
