West Grey Police Service hosted their first annual Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics at St. Peter’s & St. Paul’s Separate School On March 10, 2017.  Over $5,000.00 in donations and pledges were raised and 15 people braved the frigid water brought in from the Saugeen River on a day where the temperature with wind chill was minus 17  degrees celsius.

We would like to thank the following sponsors for their generous support:

Northern Credit Union

West Grey Durham Lions Club

Durham Furniture Inc

Durham Foodland

Graham Driving Service

Garafraxa Street Cafe

New Orleans’ Pizza

Godfathers Pizza

and 92.3 the Dock.

A very special thanks to the staff and students of St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Separate school.  Your boundless enthusiasm and deep sense of community is appreciated by all of us.  The Torch Run is our next fundraiser in support of Special Olympics so please save May 16, 2017 to join us for even more fun and games!
