On March 13, 2017 a break and enter was reported to a seasonal property on Concession 4 in Glenelg Township. The break and enter occurred between Feb. 26th and March 13th. A Snap-On rolling tool cabinet, pellet rifle, and .22 rifle were stolen.
On March 13, 2017 a Google Nexus 5 cellular phone was reported stolen from a residence on Garafraxa St. S. in Durham.
On March 16, 2017 at 7:38 p.m. a traffic stop was conducted on Baptist Church Road in Glenelg Township. A 32 year old Walkerton male was arrested and charged with 4 counts of possession of a controlled substance and breach of recognizance. He was held for a bail hearing. A 24 year old Walkerton female was also arrested and charged with 4 counts of possession of a controlled substance. She was released on a promise to appear.
On March 16, 2017 at 9:30 p.m. officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on Grey Road 4 in Glenelg Township. A pickup truck attempted to evade the R.I.D.E. program. Subsequently the vehicle was seized and a 28 year old West Grey resident was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm, and possession of a firearm outside of hunting hours contrary to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act. He was released on a promise to appear.
On March 19, 2017 a theft of a homemade trailer was reported stolen from the back yard of a Albert St. S. residence in Durham. The theft occurred within the previous 3 days.
