Occurrence type: Recovered stolen vehicle
On Friday 17 Nov 2017, at a Glenelg property Jana NELSON, an adult female, was arrested for possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and several breaches of her probations. West Grey Police recovered a U-Haul truck that had been reported stolen out of Toronto. The truck was a 2016 Ford F250 4×4 valued at $50,000. The accused was remanded for a bail hearing at Walkerton Court. Investigation is ongoing.
Occurrence type: Break, enter and theft
On Friday 17 Nov 2017, a Bentinck area resident reported that sometime between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning his unlocked shed was entered and an Echo CS530 chainsaw, orange in colour with an Oregon 20” bar and orange cover along with a red 5 gallon fuel can was stolen.
