On Wednesday August 21st 2019, police were dispatched to attend the Durham Conservation for a fire that took place sometime overnight. The fire was already out, however had caused severe damage to the female washroom. It appeared that suspect(s) lit the paper towel dispenser on fire which then spread and burned several walls and the roof. There is approximately $3000 worth of damage to the washroom and the investigation is ongoing. Police are looking to the public for information and asking that anyone who may have information contact the West Grey Police Service at 519-371-6911.
