On Friday August 23rd 2019, Police were informed that a break and enter and theft had occurred at a Concession 14 seasonal property in Bentinck Township. It appears that the suspect(s) pried open the window of a small cabin on the property and once inside, stole a 3500 yellow generator, McCulloch chainsaw with 18″ bar, two antique oil lanterns and a set of pots. The suspect(s) also broke into the victim’s garden shed and left with two small propane tanks along with two 20 gallon full gas cans.

The suspect(s) took everything they could including the victims older yellow & black Yard Machine 14 HP riding lawn mower. Not only did the suspect(s) take belongings, they literally left with the victims complete 2007 Jayco 28′ double axel camper trailer (not a 5th wheel).

The victim tells police that no one had been to the property since the end of June 2019 and that they had not returned until August 23rd. The estimated value of the stolen property is approximately $18,200. Police are requesting that the public keep their eyes out for the stolen goods and ask that anyone with information contact the West Grey Police Service at 519-371-6911.
