Theft from licensed grow-op
On September 12th, 2019 officers responded to a theft from a licensed marijuana growing operation. Investigation led to the arrest of two men, one from Woodstock and the other from London. One of the men was charged with Theft over $5000 and being in Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000. He was transported to the West Grey Police Station where he was processed and later released with a October 23rd, 2019 court date out of the Walkerton Courthouse. The second accused male was charged with Theft over $5000, Being in Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 and Possession of a Schedule I substance (meth.) The accused was processed and was then turned over to the London Police Service where he was wanted on outstanding warrants for other matters.
Obstructing Roadway
On Monday September 9th, 2019 police were advised that for the past two weekends an unidentified person has been observed using sticks and stones to block an access lane off of Sideroad 10 in Bentinck. Measures are being put in place to monitor the area and police will be conducting weekend patrols of the road in hopes of identifying the culprit.

Fail to comply with probation
On September 11th officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Grey Road 4. A male and female party were located and investigation revealed the female party was on probation. One of the stated conditions of her probation was no contact with the male party. The two were separated and the probation office was notified of the potential breach of conditions.
