Theft from LCBO

On Monday September 23rd 2019, police responded to a call for service where a lone male had left the LCBO with two bottles of alcohol without paying for them. Police have obtained screen captures from the surveillance footage and have made them available to the public via our social media platforms in hopes to identify the male. Property

On Wednesday the 25th day of September, police were dispatched to a Garafraxa Street residence were a resident reported that someone had left a plastic bag containing numerous adult toys in front of his property. Police are looking to speak with the owner of the found property and ask that anyone with information contact the West Grey Police Service at 519-371-6911.

Tobacco Tax Act

On Monday September 23rd 2019, police conducted a traffic stop and subsequently discovered that the vehicle was transporting 800 unmarked cigarettes. In consequence, the illegal tobacco was seized and the owner of the vehicle was issued an offence notice for possession of unmarked cigarettes contrary to the Tobacco Tax Act.
