The West Grey Police Service responded to 128 occurrences over the past two weeks.

A number of RIDE checks were performed in various parts of West Grey.  There were no criminal code charges laid but a number of Highway Traffic Act charges were laid.

 

On March 10, 2020 West Grey Police Service was advised of an assault.  A female youth was arrested, charged and released with conditions. She will appear in youth court on April 6, 2020.

On March 11, 2020 a break and enter to a property on George St E in Durham was reported.  Numerous items were taken.  There are no suspects at this time.

On March 16, 2020 West Grey Officers executed a warrant charging a female with numerous counts related to fraud.  She remains in custody.

On March 5, 2020 an assault on Queen St N in Durham resulted in charges against a male who was released with conditions and will appear in court on April 8, 2020

On March 17, 2020 a suspect in an assault reported on Mulock Rd who then fled in vehicle before police arrival , was involved in a single motor vehicle crash that resulted in injuries.  He was arrested, charged and released with conditions once his injuries were treated at hospital.

On March 16, 2020 West Grey officers responded to reports of a male party jumping in and out of traffic on Grey Rd 4 west of Durham. The male party was located and transported to hospital.  He subsequently caused damage at the hospital before fleeing.  He was caught and returned to the hospital.  The male of no fixed address was charged with Mischief and released with a June 3, 2020 court date.
