On July 31, 2020 West Grey Police Service officers were dispatched to an address on Concession 10 NDR. Sometime in the previous 48 hours unknown culprit(s) stole multiple items from a seasonal property there. A Pelican kayak, Pit Boss Smoker BBQ, bar fridge, lawn furniture and two bb rifles were taken. The next day a break and enter was reported at another seasonal property on the same road. The cabin on site was ransacked although there was nothing of value taken. West Grey Police conducted eight RIDE programs in different parts of the municipality over the CIVIC long weekend and 1058 vehicles were checked in those programs. No offences related to drinking and driving were found. There were over 50 Highway Traffic Act charges laid by officers on patrol. Additionally two drivers were charged with stunt driving and had their vehicles impounded and their licenses suspended.
On Wednesday August 6, 2020, a 20 year old West Grey male was charged with stunt driving. His license was suspended for seven days and the vehicle he was driving which did not belong to him was impounded for seven days.
