During the week of March 25 to March 31, 2021 the West Grey Police Service responded to 73 total calls for service.

It was a busy week for officers responding to 2 Suspicious Person / Unwanted Person calls as well as 10 Police Assistance incidents.  Officers assisted Ambulance / Fire Service on 2 occasions while providing assistance and de-escalation with 6 Mental Health Act occurrences.

The West Grey Police Criminal Investigation section members arrested 3 persons on outstanding Bench Warrants.  All were later released and will appear in Walkerton Court.

On March 31, 2021 a 27-year-old male from West Grey was arrested for Impaired Driving and Drive Over 80- following a Single Motor Vehicle Collison on Grey Road 12.  The male was processed, released and will appear in Walkerton Court in May, 2021.   << IT’S NEVER OK TO DRINK AND DRIVE.  IT’S NEVER OK TO DRIVE HIGH.>>
