Weekly Media Release
During the week of April 8 – 15, 2021 the West Grey Police Service responded to 89 total calls for service.
Officers responded to 6 Unwanted Persons, 14 Police Assistance and 11 Suspicious Person Reports. Officers also provided assistance and de-escalation at 2 Mental Health Act calls.
Spring is here so the West Grey Police – Criminal Investigations Unit has initiated –
“Operation Clean Sweep”
.
Officers are focusing on residents of West Grey who currently have outstanding Warrants.
During the first week of the operation officers have located and arrested 14 individuals that were wanted on outstanding Arrest and Bench Warrants held by West Grey Police, OPP, Hanover Police and other Ontario Police Agencies.
If you believe you have an outstanding warrant – Contact West Grey Police – 519 369-3046 and arrange to surrender yourself. We will find you. We will arrest you.
