Warrants – March 10, 2022 – West Grey Police executed an Arrest Warrant on a 43-year old female from Hanover, Ontario. The woman was brought before the Ontario Court of Justice on an outstanding charge of Theft Under $ 5,000.00.
Stolen Vehicle / Possession of Stolen Property = March 29, 2022 – West Grey Police were called to an address on the Normanby Bentick Towline after the victim reported that their vehicle had been stolen. Police located the stolen vehicle and initiated a suspect track. A short time later the suspect was located hiding in a wooded area.
A 36-year old male of No Fixed Address was arrested and is charged with:
- Theft Under $ 5,000.00 (2 counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
The accused was held for a Bail Hearing and remains in custody.
Domestic Disturbance – March 29, 2022 – West Grey Police were called to an address in response to a Domestic Disturbance situation. As a result of investigation a 27-year old male from West Grey was arrested and is charged with:
- Uttering Threats
- Aggravated Sexual Assault
The accused was held for a Bail Hearing by police, but was later released by the Ontario Court of Justice.
