Robbery / Mischief / Utter Threats On April 9, 2022 West Grey Officers were called to an address on Garafraxa Street, Durham after receiving a report of a home invasion.  Officers were on scene in minutes and detained two suspects.

The 34-year old female of Durham was arrested at the scene and is charged with:

  • Robbery
  • Uttering Threats
  • Mischief

She was held by police for a Bail Hearing but was later released by the Ontario Court of Justice on a Court Order with strict conditions.

Assault with a Weapon / Forcible Confinement – On April 10, 2022 police were called to a single motor vehicle collision on Concession 2, Normanby Township.  Investigation revealed the collision was occurred during a Domestic Assault .

A 45-year old male of West Grey was arrested at the scene and is charged with:

  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Forcible Confinement
  • Point Firearm
  • Possession of Weapon Dangergous
  • Assault Cause Bodily Harm
  • Uttering Threats (3 Counts)
  • Dangerous Driving

The accused was held for a Bail Hearing and remains in custody.
