On November 25, 2023 West Grey Police officers were called to a local business after a 33 year old male entered their premises and threatened a customer who had entered the store.  The male was arrested and charged with Uttering Threats and was later released on conditions.  He will appear in court at a future date.

On November 27, 2023 officers responded to a local business where a male party passed counterfeit bills as payment for groceries.  The male suspect was identified on video and a warrant is being sought for his arrest.

On November 26, 2023 officers were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision.  Investigation determined the driver was driving with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood and he was arrested and charged accordingly.  He will appear in court on a future date.

On November 25, 2023 officers were dispatched to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision Road 10 and Grey Road 28)and the female driver was transported to hospital with serious injuries.  Investigation into the cause of this collision is ongoing at press time. On November 20,2023 officers serving a summons at an address in the former Normanby township observed a stolen motor vehicle.  The person on scene with possession of the vehicle keys was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property.  A 25 year old female from West Grey will appear in court to face the charges at a future date.

The first significant snowfall of the season resulted in numerous motor vehicle collisions in our area.  Drivers are urged to slow down and proceed with caution on our winter roads.
