On February  9th West Grey officers on patrol spotted a wanted  individual on the street in Durham.  The 41 year old male of no fixed address fled from officers but was arrested and charged with three counts of failing to comply with conditions of release in addition to the charge of failing to attend for identification for which he was wanted.   He was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody.

Charges of driving while under suspension were laid against two males in separate incidents where officers on patrol conducted traffic stops.  Both parties were charged accordingly and the vehicles they were driving were impounded.

On February 9, 2024 a 23 year old was stopped for a Highway Traffic Act offence. The male driver from West Grey dis[played signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of A Motor Vehicle and for operating a motor vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol in is blood. His license was suspended and he was released to a future court date.

Sometime between the evening of February 12th 2024 and morning of February 13th 2024, entry was made to a large fabric/vinyl drive shed on a property on Grey Rd 23. Various Snap On hand tools were stolen, two high end digital torque wrenches and Milwaukee impact drill with multiple batteries. The gate leading to the quarry is locked after hours and the suspects entered the property on foot, parking their vehicle on the road.  Also taken were a set of keys to a 2010 Ram diesel dually that stays parked on the property.
