During the week of February 10th – 17th officers responded to 99 calls for service.
On February 11th, WGPS executed a warrant at a residence in the town of Durham where 5 parties were charged with several offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act. All parties will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, Walkerton at a later date.
On February 11th, West Grey Police assisted Hanover Fire with a snowmobile that was ablaze. No injuries resulted from this incident.
On February 18th, while on general patrol officers observed a lone motor vehicle in the ditch, through investigation it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was impaired. Driver failed the ASD and provided a sample of his breath that delivered readings of 160mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. Male was arrested and charged accordingly.
