During the week of February 24th – March 3rd officers responded to 84 calls for service.
On February 28th police responded to a noise complaint in Elmwood. As a result of this, police located a male who was on several release orders and contravening several of his release conditions. As a result, the male was arrested and charged with 5 counts of failure to comply with a release order. The male was seen before the Ontario Court of Justice Walkerton.
On March 3rd while on general patrol police observed a vehicle that was known to be operated by a wanted person. The arresting officer conducted a traffic stop and through the course of the investigation learned that the male driver was also on a release order with a condition to not be in the Municipality of West Grey. The male was arrested and charged accordingly.
