On March 26th 2025 a female contacted West Grey Police to advise that her ex-partner had breached his release order by attending her address in Glenelg. The male had only been released hours prior to the breach. The male was subsequently arrested, charged and held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice Walkerton.

On March 29th, 2025 while on general patrol in the town of Durham officers observed a vehicle driving unreasonably slowly. The vehicle was followed for approximately 1 kilometer, where it was observed that speeds did not exceed 30 km/hr and the vehicle was swerving in its lane. Officers conducted a traffic stop and detected an odour of alcohol coming from the driver. The driver was read the ASD demand and provided a suitable sample roadside, which returned as a ‘FAIL.’ The male driver was arrested and transported back to the West Grey Police Service where he provided two samples of his breath, resulting in a reading of 130mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The male driver was released with a court date and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice Walkerton at a later date.
